Tokyo seminar on Simplified Technical English

Tedopres Japan hosted a one-day seminar about Simplified Technical English. Participants from all over Japan joined in the conference to learn about the benefits of Simplified Technical English and HyperSTE.

“We had participants traveling up to 600 km to join us!”, says Dr. Frans Wijma, Director of Language Technology & Research, who lectured the seminar. “Japanese multinationals are eager to explore ways to improve the quality of their documentation and to streamline the creation and management of their multilingual documentation. Japan also has many companies in the aerospace industry. They are key suppliers of aircraft systems and components to major manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus. They thus often have a requirement to use Simplified Technical English."

To optimally serve its Japanese customer base and extend its activities, Tedopres opens office in Japan.
