Tedopres Wins Defense Innovation Competition 2009

Winning the first annual Defense Innovation Competition 2009 confirms that this strategy is appreciated by our customers. Together with our partners Catalyst Interactive Europe and Dutchear, Tedopres once again sets the standard for the future of maintenance documentation.

The winning project plan for “System for Asset Maintenance Management” (SAMM) enables a mechanic to easily perform complex maintenance procedures at any location, including deserts in Afghanistan or simular environments. During these procedures, the mechanic is supported by innovative technologies for speech, 3D and augmented reality. Thanks to SAMM the knowledge for maintenance becomes available locally.

The competition was organized by the Dutch Ministry of Defense (DMO), the Development Organization of Brabant (BOM, the Program Office World Class Maintenance (WCM) and the Dutch Foundation for Defense and Safety (NIVD). Its goal is to support innovative technologies for military as well as civil industries, in both the Netherlands and abroad.
