FAA selects HyperSTE Simplified Technical English software

The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) has selected HyperSTE to improve readability and ensure consistency of its technical documentation.

The FAA is responsible for the safety of civil aviation in the United States of America. Its mission is to provide the safest, most efficient aviation system in the world. The FAA's vision is to improve the safety and efficiency of aviation, while being responsive to its users and accountable to the public.

To facilitate this, the FAA has selected Tedopres' Simplified Technical English services to improve the readability of its technical documentation and ensure consistent use of unambiguous terminology and style. Tedopres' products and services include:

  • Standardization of FAA terminology 
  • Training of FAA technical writers on the rules of STE 
  • HyperSTE software, to ensure compliance with the STE rules and consistent use of approved terminology
